Bull shark diving playa del carmen

Don't miss the opportunity to dive with Bull Sharks.

Diving Season with bull sharks in Mexico is between December and March. Because  female bull sharks need warm water to give birth, they choose the Mexican Caribbean to do so.

Playa del Carmen becomes a more special place to appreciate these magnificent sharks.

You will dive with the bull sharks 24 meters deep in a static dive, where you will take a rope to facilitate your diving.

Bull Sharks are not shy, they usually wander among divers, so this experience will never be forgotten!

It is necessary to have a minimum Open Water certification, in case you do not have it and you want to get certified, we help you to obtain it, enter the section “Diving Courses” on our home page.

When is bull shark season in Playa del Carmen?

The bull sharks aren’t always in and around Playa del Carmen they are only in the shallows between November and March. So make sure you plan your dive between those months.

Bull sharks are generally found in warm, shallow waters, while the most famous bull shark dives are in Fiji, bull shark dives in Playa del Carmen are more accessible and more fun.

We do not want to get into a debate about baited dives, some agree that others do not, but all we will say is that a shark is worth more alive than dead.

We believe that every diver who has the opportunity to see a shark up close in the wild will be one more person on our floor requesting to save the sharks.

When is the Best Time to Dive with Bull Sharks in Playa del Carmen?

Bull shark dives in Playa del Carmen are getting more and more popular.

Every year female bull sharks return to their breeding ground in the shallow waters in front of the coast of Playa del Carmen in Mexico.

The bull shark is quite a large shark that can thrive in both freshwater and saltwater bodies of water.
The species is mainly found along coasts and within rivers all over the world, so it is no wonder that bull sharks choose the waters off the city of Playa del Carmen on the eastern coast of Mexico as their breeding grounds.
