At DEEP Mexico, our Open Water Diver Course is a comprehensive program designed to provide you with
all the skills and knowledge necessary to become a safe and confident scuba diver. We have a team of
experienced and certified instructors, to help you to learn everything from dive theory to practical
skills, all while experiencing the beautiful and diverse marine life of Mexico's stunning coastline.

bustle of daily life and explore the hidden treasures that lie beneath the ocean's surface.

are certified professionals with years of experience under their belts, and our state-of-the-art
equipment ensures that you'll be diving safely and comfortably.
To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10
years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No
prior experience with scuba diving is required.
Once your course is completed, you'll be certified to dive to depths of 18meters, with a buddy. The
PADI certification is recognized around the world, so no matter where your next vacation is, you'll
have the skills and qualifications to dive wherever you are!
The PADI Open Water Course takes 3 days to complete, with some theory required.
Day 1 usually is a pool session, where we show you the skills needed to be learned to dive safely in
our diver's pool. We will also look at the theory and knowledge reviews to ensure you understood the
knowledge behind the sport.
On days 2 and 3 we take you to the ocean - or an open cenote - so you can repeat these skills in the
open water. Plus, you'll finally be able to experience some of the fish and underwater beauty you've
been longing to see! You'll do 2 dives each day, with your instructor there to support your
learning, at your own pace.
